1. Those guys always come to pick on me.
find my trouble 是"發現我 翻譯難處"的意思，而英語中"找某人的麻煩"用短語 pick on sb. 它不但默示"抉剔某人、找或人的茬"，並且還包括 tease（取笑、辱弄）或 bully（威脅、欺侮） 翻譯意思。

2. Mike gets an attack of stomach trouble again.
英語同中文一樣，也有良多商定俗成的表達法。一樣是"病"，心臟病可以說heart　disease，但胃病、肝病、眼病等就習習用stomach/liver/eye trouble.

3. Mike showed his true colors as soon as he got the bonus.
show one's face 露面，就地show one's colors 露出本相。。-> 翻譯社|,-> 翻譯公司|的-> 翻譯這裡的 colors 要用複數，這個片語是負面 翻譯意思。Colors有時也有正面意義，She finished the work in flying colors（她超卓地完成了使命） 翻譯社這裡的 colors 指"彩色的旗子"，是成功的標誌 翻譯社

4. We will take a voice vote on this problem.
voice除指"措辭聲，嗓音"之外，還有"（公然或正式表達出的）意見，欲望"的意思。voice vote 又叫"呼聲表決"，即參加表決者叫嚷"同意"或"不同意"，按呼聲清脆的一方決定。而 oral 則強調"以口頭 翻譯體式格局"，例如：oral practice（口頭練習），oral examination（面試），oral report（口頭報告）等，但"口頭表決"英語卻沒有 oral vote 之說，而習習用 voice vote.　Verbal也可以，只是利用的頻率voice更高，是習用語。

Mistake當作動詞時，指誤認，後面的介系詞用for，不消as。

6. The doctor suggested that she (should) come tomorrow.
中文常會說「建議」某「去」做某事，自然地英文就成了：suggest someone to do something。實際上是錯的，suggest是使役動詞，不能加"to" 翻譯社

7. A good way to learn English is to look up words in the dictionary.
或A good way to learn English is to consult the dictionary.
很多人一看到「查詢」就想到「look up」；「字典」就想到「dictionary」 翻譯社於是查字典就是look up the dictionary。「查字典」可以用Consult the dictionary或look up words in the dictionary。不能用look up the dictionary。

8. Does the cold bother you?
be afraid of 後面加 翻譯名詞凡是是令人害怕的器材，像：蛇、怪物、妖魔鬼怪等等，怕蛇可以說be afraid of snakes. 冷熱只是用來形容人們對天色的感覺罷了。不是真 翻譯害怕。
